Experience WashU. Explore St. Louis. Stay Connected.

Parent & Family Weekend at WashU is an opportunity for students and family members to reconnect on campus. Throughout the weekend, there will be a host of programs, tours, and events offered that highlight the WashU experience and St. Louis. Most importantly, it is a chance to spend time with your student and meet other WashU family members.

All attendees—including minors and current WashU students—must be individually registered for events, regardless of whether the ticket is free or paid. Students may register using their WashU Key. You may purchase up to two tickets for the same event by selecting both of the ticket options.

Please do not use the back button. Once you proceed to the cart you will not be able to return to the ticket selection page.

When purchasing tickets, the StarRez system will ask for the name of the person you are registering and who will be picking up the tickets for your group. To help facilitate a smooth check-in process, please select one individual to receive all tickets for your party. Tickets can be picked-up during check-in and registration in the Student Transitions and Engagement Office on Friday, September 26 and Saturday, September 27 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Advanced t-shirt sales will end at 8:00 AM CDT on Monday, September 8th. Advanced ticket sales will end at 5:00 PM CDT on Wednesday, September 10. Any unsold or returned tickets will be available for purchase at the Parent & Family Weekend Check-In. We are unable to process refunds after 11:59pm CDT on Friday, September 5.

Student Affairs

The Division of Student Affairs spearheads the student experience at WashU through intentional co-curricular learning experiences that complement our students’ academic curriculum.

We recognize that student learning is most impactful when students are able to make significant connections across their many educational experiences, both in and outside of the classroom. Through events, programming, and the many services offered throughout the division, students will grow and learn to thrive while at WashU.

WashU

WashU was founded in 1853 by a group of St. Louisans to address the lack of higher education opportunities in the Midwest. The new university lacked funding from the state, a religious group, or a single wealthy donor, so WashU grew slowly at first. Today, we are proud of our global reputation for excellence in teaching, research, and patient care.
