MERCURY Conference

The consortium, known as the Molecular Education and Research Consortium in Undergraduate computational chemistRY (MERCURY) was founded in 2001 with the goal of establishing research collaboration among seven computational chemistry faculty from primarily undergraduate institutions (PUIs). The consortium members share NSF-funded computational facilities and meet at an annual MERCURY conference to network and present their research.

MERCURY Conference on Wednesday, July 17th – Friday, July 19th

Molssi: The Molecular Sciences Software Institute Workshop is Monday, July15th – Tuesday, July 16th ** Note that this workshop is an add-on and free to MERCURY Students. To attend, you must register specifically for this conference add-on.

We will have six outstanding speakers, an undergraduate poster session and evening social networking events. The conference will be preceded by a MOLSSI workshop. The conference is an excellent forum for undergraduates to present their work and to learn from experts in the field, allowing them to put their own research into perspective. It is equally valuable as a networking event for faculty working with undergraduates. Undergraduates from all types of institutions are invited to come present their work.

(1/2 day with check-out)

**Fees: **

All Mercury Member Students and Faculty registration fees are waived.

Faculty, Post Doc, Grad Student: $250 Student: $100 (Use Promo Code: Student)

Registration fees include the following:

Housing : Students will be housed in shared rooms. Faculty will be housed in singular rooms with a shared living space and bathroom. Please note that all linens and towels are covered during your stay.

Meals: All meals are covered during your stay for the MOLSSI Workshop and MERCURY Conference

Registration will open at the end of March and will close on June 3rd.
