Housing Information
Building Information Ginsburg Hall is named in honor of Cornell 1954 graduate, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Through creative floor plans, Ginsburg Hall provides living spaces with a modern aesthetic that enhances the residential experience and encourages interaction and collaboration among students.

- Bedrooms contain, for each occupant: an extra-long twin bed, a wardrobe and three drawer bureau, a desk and desk chair, a desk lamp, a wastebasket, and recycling bin

Housekeeping Information Every bed for each attendee will be made upon arrival with a mattress pad, sheets, blanket, bedspread, pillow, and pillowcase. Three towels, three face cloths, soap, a drinking cup and clothes hangers will be provided. Linen exchange and Trash Removal is available Monday through Friday as needed. External common areas will be cleaned daily. External Restrooms will be cleaned and restocked three times per week. Internal restrooms and common areas cleaned and restocked once a week.
Layout Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hall features single and double rooms arranged in pods along the corridor with corridor bathrooms. Each pod has two double rooms, one single room, and one bathroom. Each bathroom has one shower stall, one toilet stall, and two sinks. Please note that all bathrooms are off the hallway.

Dates On-campus housing is available from Sunday, July 21, 2024 through Saturday, August 3, 2024. Please reach out to (Conference and Event Services)[mailto:ceshelp@cornell.edu] if you would like an extended stay beyond the group dates. Please register for on-campus housing before July 8th, 2024
Rates Single rooms and Double-occupancy shared rooms are available in Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hall. If you request a double-occupancy room, you will be placed in a room with another guest. To sign up for any roommate or inficate a preferred roommate, use this link.
Funding If you are applying for funding, DO NOT PAY until you have received your funding decision. DO register and select your housing type and dates of stay. You can pay at a later date if you do not receive funding. If you are awarded funding, your housing will be paid by the program. If the registrant is paying for housing they pay the $50.00 administrative fee. Otherwise, the department/grant will pay. The $50.00 administrative fee is non-refundable.
Rates are subject to tax. Attandees are advised to use the same email for the housing registration as with the Summer School registration.
Single Rooms
$111.00/night plus tax and a one-time $3 registration fee.
Shared rooms
$77.500/night plus tax and a one-time $3 registration fee. You will be sharing this room with another guest
