Registration Deadlines Registration for meal plans for the Lepidopterists' Society 72nd Annual Meeting will be open until June 26, 2024.

Registration Payment It is important to know that you will not be able to return to the registration site once you have closed out/left the site. Make sure you have your credit card information available to complete payment before starting to register.

After clicking "Confirm and Pay", you will be routed to our secure payment page. You will not be able to get back in to pay after you close out the registration site. For any help with registration, please write to CESHelp@cornell.edu and include "Lep Soc" in the subject line.

On-Campus Housing On-campus housing is available in Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hall. You can sign up and pay for on-campus housing during the registration process. The room rates are $111.00 plus tax per night for a single room Check-in starts on July 14, 2024 after 2:00pm at the Service Desk in Robert Purcell Community Center. Check-out is by 10:00am on July 17, 2024.

Rooms are serviced with housekeeping at our Conference Level, Every bed for each attendee will be made upon arrival with a mattress pad, sheets, blanket, bedspread, pillow, and pillowcase. Three towels, three face cloths, soap, a drinking cup and clothes hangers will be provided. Linen exchange and Trash Removal is available Monday through Friday as needed. External common areas will be cleaned daily. External Restrooms will be cleaned and restocked three times per week. Internal restrooms and common areas cleaned and restocked once a week..

Parking On-campus parking is restricted at all times to permit or payment unless otherwise signed. You can purchase a printable parking permit in advance starting on April 15, 2024 or pay upon arrival using ParkMobile.

Advance-Purchase Parking You must have access to a printer to use this option. Starting April 1, visit Click and Park, select "Lep Soc", choose appropriate dates, pay via credit card, and download a printable parking permit. When you arrive at your specified parking lot, display your printed permit on your dash.

13 July Executive Council Meeting

Digital Illustration Workshop 3pm – 5pm “A picture is worth a thousand words” is an old saying that rings true when considering the importance and impact of research communication. Illustrations can serve science in a variety of ways: defining or clarifying key features of an insect for a species description, visualizing process methods, sketching diagrams of a research study plot, or making cover illustrations for a publication. This workshop will cover a variety of techniques and styles for making drawings and research illustrations, both traditional and digital, with a focus on Lepidoptera. All skill levels are welcome! Materials will be provided on site (with the exception of a laptop: please bring your own for digital work). Handouts will be provided both physically and electronically so that participants can continue developing work that is meaningful to their personal interests and professional research goals.

Dinosaur BBQ, the Finger Lakes' best BBQ, will have a grill pit on-site. making you mouthwatering smoked food.

Willard Straight Hall is a college-gothic-style building in the heart of Cornell’s campus.
