Cornell Dining
Cornell Dining is consistently ranked in the Princeton Review's top ten for best campus food among all colleges and universities in the country. That high rating comes from customers and reflects the quality and variety of the food served. Temple of Zeus
Temple of Zeus offers food that is not offered anywhere else on campus, so the café attracts a crowd interested in eating healthier, local foods. This café is directly near the lecture halls in Klarman Hall. The summer hours are to-be-determined, but will be posted here when known.
Digital Illustration Workshop - July 13, 3–5pm
Scientific Illustration workshop will cover many techniques for making drawings and research illustrations, both traditional and digital, focusing on Lepidoptera. All skill levels are welcome! Materials will be provided on-site (except a laptop: please bring your own for digital work). Handouts will be provided both physically and electronically so that participants can continue developing work that is meaningful to their personal interests and professional research goals.
Welcome Reception - July 13th, 5-9pm
Join us for a welcome reception at Mann Library provided by Luna catering. Luna Inspired Street Food is a quick-service restaurant in Ithaca, New York with two locations: Collegetown at 100 Dryden Rd and Downtown at 113 Aurora St. The restaurant is inspired by street vendors, carts, and trucks from around the world. The menu includes street food, tacos, and Asian fusion.
BBQ - July 15th, 4-8pm
Join us for a BBQ at Taughannock Falls State Park. The namesake waterfall is one of the outstanding natural attractions of the Northeast. Taughannock Falls plunges 215 feet past rocky cliffs that tower nearly 400 feet above the gorge. Gorge and rim trails offer spectacular views from above the falls and from below at the end of the gorge trail. Dinosaur BBQ, the Finger Lakes' best BBQ, will have a grill pit on-site. making you mouthwatering smoked food.
Closing Banquet - July 16th, 5-9pm
Join us for a closing banquet at Willard Straight Hall provided by the Cornell Dining team, who prides itself on creating memorable occasions. Willard Straight Hall is a college-gothic-style building in the heart of Cornell’s campus. The building is an art exhibit in itself—take some time to visit the public rooms on the 4th floor and notice the distinctive artwork, the original wood carving, stonework, and wrought-iron work.
