The Association for the Study of Literature and Environment (ASLE) and The Association for Environmental Studies and Sciences (AESS) are excited to hold their conference jointly from July 9-12, 2023. The theme is “Reclaiming the Commons,” and the event will offer opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, networking, and professional development with a variety of sessions sponsored by both organizations.

Rate: $77/night Broadway units are furnished with a bed, desk, and dresser. Each unit features a private bathroom and kitchenette w/ mini-fridge. Guests are provided with trash bags, toilet paper, and bar soap for the duration of their stay. ADA spaces are available. Rooms equipped with: trash can, recycling bin, box fan, desk lamp. Conference buildings are not air-conditioned, however guests will have access to air-conditioned common spaces.

Rate: $65/night Ondine units are furnished with a bed, desk, and dresser. Each unit features a private bathroom. Guests are also provided with trash bags, toilet paper, and bar soap for the duration of their stay. Rooms are equipped with: trash can, recycling bin, box fan, desk lamp. Our conference buildings are not air-conditioned, however guests will have access to air-conditioned common spaces.

Additional Occupants
Additional Occupants

Guests have the option to add an additional occupant to their reservation. The additional occupant will receive a key and access badge at check-in. The guest who is reserving the room MUST be present at check-in, in order for the additional occupant to receive their key and access badge. Additional occupants cannot check-in on behalf of the guest who made the reservation. Minors (age 10 and under) will not be issued a key or access badge.

Linens

Linens are not provided in the rooms. Guests have the option of bringing their own linens or renting a linen pack. Linen Pack: $9/night/person Includes 1 of each: pillow, pillow case, blanket, flat sheet, fitted sheet, bath towel, washcloth, hand towel, bath mat, laundry bag. **If a guest registers an additional occupant, they must purchase 2 linen packs.
